Sustainalube today

Sustainalube is a company specializing in the research and production of non-toxic, highly biodegradable lubricants. Small-scale and new products are manufactured at the company’s facility in Dalbo, Luleå. Large-scale production of established products is carried out in partnership with external facilities, including Skoogs Bränsle in Öjebyn, Piteå, which produces a significant share of Sustainalube’s products.

The company is continuously engaged in research to enhance existing products and develop new solutions for emerging applications. Much of this research and development is conducted in collaboration with research institutes and universities. Product development and testing are also carried out in partnership with companies both in Sweden and internationally. Among the company’s employees are two prominent researchers in this field – Professor Yijun Shi and Dr. Pontus Johansson.
